About Capybara
Small moments. Lasting connection.
Capybara is a parent-created brand from the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm Octav, and it began with stories I made for my own children. Their imagination reminded me that ordinary moments often become the memories that matter most.
What we make
We create children's books, capybara gifts, playful apparel, printable art, and 3D-printed figures for story time, pretend play, and favorite family spaces. Each piece is made to invite a little more reading, imagining, laughing, and time together.
Why capybaras?
Capybaras are calm, social animals known for getting along with all kinds of company. For us, they are a gentle reminder of the qualities we hope children carry with them: kindness, curiosity, friendship, and ease in being themselves.

Everything starts with a simple question: can this help create a small moment of connection? We care about warm stories, gentle humor, thoughtful design, and products that children and grown-ups can enjoy together.
